Bishop Richard Pates of the Diocese of Des Moines asked parishes to include a letter from him in their bulletins this weekend. If you didn't get a bulletin, the Bishop thanked everyone for their prayers over the last week for the flood waters to recede. He also asked that we send any monetary contributions to help flood victims to:

Bishop Pates said in his letter that after the needs of the Des Moines Diocese are met, the rest of the funds will be forwarded to the Archdiocese of Dubuque and the Diocese of Davenport, which were particularly devastated from the flooding.

Step Up to the Plate: Catholic Charities Night has been rescheduled for Tuesday, July 8. If you had purchased tickets to the June 13 game you may exchange your tickets by contacting your parish ambassador or Catholic Charities.
