Feast Day: The Birth of Mary
Today Deacon Rick and Jenny had a laid back morning of music and laughter. To help us enter into the feast of the Birth of Mary, Deacon Rick played "Ave Maria," "The Bells of St. Mary's," and "Mary Queen of Peace.
Jenny spoke of the upcoming "Thinking about Priesthood" night, for young men who want to learn more about the priesthood. This will take place on September 17 at 5:00pm at the Catholic Pastoral Center on Grand Avenue in Des Moines. For more information you can call Stephen Tatz: 515-237-5061.
Deacon Rick was inspired to end the show with a surprise song by the Beatles, "Eleanor Rigby."
